Alembic is built by Prospecter Ventures, a venture studio based in Steinhausen, Switzerland. Prospecter builds several products at a time — taking technology from idea to market rather than advising on it from the outside.
That matters here for one reason. This isn't a side project. It's built by a team that has done this before, with the engineering depth to stand behind a system people will make real decisions with.
Prospecter's own line is the one this product grew out of: “The information is already public. The relevance isn't.” Three words run through everything the studio builds, and through Alembic.

She has spent over forty years reading the market, the last decade of them running a small family office. She is the investor Alembic was originally built for, and still its most demanding user.

Lisa leads the technology. Her background is in machine learning and large-scale information systems, and she built Alembic — the ingestion, the synthesis, the evaluation engine. She is also a long-standing advocate for STEM and for getting more women into technology.

We show you what the sources say and where they conflict. We don't add a house view on top.

Every design choice starts from the assumption that you are the one deciding. We are not trying to become your advisor and we won't take custody of anything.
Honest about what's built.
This site says what exists and what doesn't. We'd rather tell you the decision record is still in development than imply otherwise and lose you at the first login.
Data and privacy
The portfolio you're responsible for is among the most sensitive data you hold. Connections are read-only, data is encrypted, and nothing about your positions is sold, shared, or used to build a product for anyone else. Full detail will be published before anyone can sign up.
